Catholic Foundation: St. Alban Roe school incorporates a living faith in all of its pursuits. In our studies, we reflect not just on the beauty of creation, but we also help the students to see the greatness and wisdom of the One who has created it. In our religion classes, we strive to embrace the motto of “Abiding in the Heart of Jesus” by pursuing Him in prayer, study, and service to develop a deeper understanding of all that He has revealed.
Class Size: Our average class size is 18 students, which allows us to create an engaging learning experience and fosters building strong relationships between our student body.
Focus on STEM: We offer opportunities to engage students in classroom and extracurricular activities that build on our STEM initiatives and curriculum. Students can take part in a number of activities, including: Design Technology, Library Media Center, Mastermind Mania, Robotics Club, and Scale Model Club.
High School Acceptance: Students from St. Alban Roe are well prepared for acceptance into and success at the high school of their choice.
100% of our 2023 8th Graders were accepted into their first choice high school in St. Louis.

Student Achievement: We celebrate student progress each year in the following ways:
Honor Roll: Students are able to qualify for Honor Roll quarterly when report cards are released.
Accelerated Reader Awards: Students participating in our Accelerated Reading Program are eligible to receive awards at the end of the year.
Young Scholars: New to the 2024/2025 school year, this program identifies excelling students and challenges them with opportunities to learn accelerated curriculum in key areas such as reading and math.
Student Testing: We are proud of our students’ outstanding performance on standardized tests and assessments, demonstrating their academic growth and proficiency. Our school consistently tests well above the national and state average.
IOWA Testing: At the beginning of each year, our students complete standardized testing. Our students consistently test above average and well beyond than the Missouri state average.
NWEA and Renaissance Benchmark Tests: Students are assessed throughout the year in areas of reading foundational skills, fluency and comprehension, math skills, language usage skills and science to ensure progress in these key areas.
Student-to-Teacher Ratio: We maintain a favorable student-to-teacher ratio of 18:1, ensuring that each child receives the personalized attention they deserve.
